Ever since the days of the real pirates of the Carribbean, the tropical islands have been the symbol of easy living, clear water and an abundance of rum and cigars. The Carribbean is the ultimate symbol of sun-burnt laziness, sugar cane and coral reefs, and even in the 21st Century, this is still true - partly. There is much more to the Carribbean than rum and sun, however, regardless how you turn the coin, it's still a very charming region.
